THE HISTORY

The Men's 🏕️ "Beach" Camping Trip 🏝️ was established in 2008 and has a long history of 🍔 food, 🎉 fun, and 👥 fellowship. We have braved the beaches 🏖️ of the Atlantic 🌊, thrived in a massive marsh-house 🏠, survived in an Eastern Shore single-wide 🏡, and tractor-surfed 🚜🌳 in the Southern Virginia woods.

Our weekend includes spiritual 🙏 food from sunrise 🌅 devotions, a relevant theme-class 📚, and always encouraging 🤗 one-on-one conversations 💬.

Every trip is memorable 🌟, rarely painful 😅, and never without an enormous amount of meat 🍖, fried 🍗, boiled 🥘, grilled 🍔 and roasted 🍖.

Oh yeah, and sometimes we build trebuchets 🏗️🔧.

🥞 DEVOTION & BREAKFAST

Start your Saturday with an optional mile-long walk for a sunrise devotion, followed by a nourishing breakfast. Afterward, participate in a class that will introduce the theme of "faithful friends" and set the stage for the day's discussions.

🚜 ACTIVITIES & GRILL FEST

The rest of the morning will be packed with a range of activities, from country golf to tractor surfing and even catapult competitions. Lunch will feature an array of grilled favorites, setting you up for an afternoon that may include a trip to the swimming hole, fishing adventures, or some hiking and jousting.

🔥 DINNER FEAST & BONFIRE

As evening settles in, enjoy a dinner rich in meat options. When night falls, gather around an epic bonfire for some camaraderie and reflection. The day will conclude with a closing devotion, and readings will be included with each meal to add a spiritual dimension to the day.

📖 SUNDAY MORNING WRAP-UP

Sunday will be a day for wrapping up and giving thanks. The morning will start with cleanup activities, followed by a visit to a local ecclesia for some spiritual nourishment before everyone heads home.

⛺️ ACCOMMODATIONS

This year, we're going back to basics with tent camping. If you can, pack a sleeping bag, a sleeping pad, and a tent to claim your cozy corner under the starlit sky. For those who'd rather not brave the outdoors, there will be limited beds and floor space available indoors. But hey, nothing beats the magic of a night beneath the stars!

🏠 HOUSE RULES

Did you know we're gathering in a historic home dating back to the late 1700s? This adds a layer of charm but also calls for some extra care. So when you're using the facilities, be mindful of the antique plumbing. Let's preserve the vintage vibes while enjoying our time!
